Job Description


The Restaurant General Manager (RGM) plays the primary role in the success of the restaurant. The RGM has the overall responsibility for directing the daily operations of a restaurant, ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operation, including product preparation and delivery, customer relations, restaurant maintenance and repair, inventory management, team management, recruiting and retention of team members, financial accountability, and other duties as required or assigned. The RGM ensures that the highest quality products and services are delivered to each customer. Other key responsibilities for a successful RGM include finding, hiring and developing employees, conducting new hire orientation and developing the training plan for each new hire. RGM\'s are also responsible for scheduling and deploying the Team correctly, addressing performance issues, assisting in the resolution of customer issues and managing the restaurant budget and financial plans. A successful candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, a track record of people development, and a positive attitude. Requirements:
  • \\t2-4 years supervisory experience in either a food service or retail environment, including Profit and Loss responsibility
  • \\tHigh School Diploma or GED, College or University Degree preferred
  • \\tStrong communication and organizational skills
  • \\tStrong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • \\tStrong analytical/decision-making skills
  • \\tBasic business math and accounting skill
  • \\tBasic personal computer literacy
  • \\tMust be at least 21 years old
  • \\tMust pass background check criteria
  • \\tMust have reliable transportation
  • \\tAble to sweep/mop floors, dust shelves, and lift/carry out trash containers to an outside bin
  • \\tAble to clean the parking lot and grounds surrounding the restaurant
  • \\tAble to tolerate standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs
