Duties



Assist in opening and closing the store, ensuring all procedures are followed accurately Lead daily store operations including inventory management, merchandising, and cash handling Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with shoppers, answering questions, and offering product recommendations Supervise sales transactions utilizing POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently and accurately Support recruiting efforts through interviewing potential team members and participating in employee orientation and training programs Manage stock levels through inventory control, purchasing, and stock replenishment to maximize sales opportunities Oversee shift management responsibilities such as scheduling staff, supervising team performance, and ensuring adherence to store policies Handle customer inquiries with professionalism via phone etiquette and in-person interactions Maintain visual merchandising standards to enhance product presentation and store appeal Assist with marketing initiatives to promote sales events and new product launches

Qualifications



Proven supervisory or assistant management experience within retail sales or similar environments Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual proficiency preferred Demonstrated expertise in retail math, pricing strategies, sales management, and cash handling procedures Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management software, and bookkeeping practices Experience in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding new employees, and conducting training & development sessions Ability to multitask effectively with strong organizational skills and time management capabilities Knowledge of retail merchandising, stock replenishment, and inventory control techniques Customer-focused mindset with exceptional service skills and phone etiquette Basic understanding of budgeting, payroll processing, and administrative tasks within a retail setting

Pay: $11.25 - $12.25 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 - 38.0 per week
