Duties
Assist in opening and closing the store, ensuring all procedures are followed accurately and efficiently
Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service, addressing inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm
Support sales initiatives through effective merchandising, product placement, and promotional activities
Manage inventory control by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and assisting with purchasing decisions
Supervise team members during shifts, providing guidance on sales techniques, POS (Point of Sale) operations, and customer interactions
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling procedures
Train new employees on store policies, POS systems, customer service standards, and safety protocols
Qualifications
Proven experience in retail sales or customer service roles with supervisory or assistant manager responsibilities
Strong leadership skills with previous supervising or team management experience
Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
Proficiency in retail math, POS systems, inventory management software, and merchandising techniques
Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with customers and vendors
Knowledge of retail operations including pricing strategies, sales management, budgeting, and payroll processing
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Experience in training & development of staff and implementing employee orientation programs
Familiarity with wireless sales or grocery store environments is advantageous
Ability to handle cashiering duties accurately while maintaining excellent phone etiquette and organizational skills
