We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Key Holder/Sales Associate to join our dynamic retail team. Duties
Greet customers warmly and provide expert assistance to enhance their shopping experience, utilizing strong communication skills and product knowledge.
Manage daily store operations including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) transactions, and ensuring the store is tidy and well-stocked.
Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service, resolving issues promptly through effective negotiation and problem-solving techniques.
Supervise sales associates by providing training, coaching, and feedback on sales techniques, product merchandising, inventory management, and customer engagement strategies.
Oversee inventory control processes such as stock replenishment, ordering purchasing supplies, conducting stock counts, and managing shrinkage to optimize profitability.
Assist in recruiting new team members by participating in interviewing candidates and onboarding new employees with comprehensive orientation sessions.
Support marketing initiatives by promoting promotions, new products, or seasonal campaigns to maximize sales opportunities.
Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, payroll processing, bookkeeping tasks, and shift reports to ensure smooth administrative operations.
Utilize management skills to supervise team schedules, assign tasks efficiently during shifts, and ensure adherence to company policies.
Foster a positive work environment by motivating team members through leadership experience and promoting teamwork.
Handle customer inquiries professionally via phone etiquette or in person while maintaining organizational skills for multitasking during busy periods.
Implement merchandising standards that align with brand guidelines to enhance visual appeal and drive sales growth.
Qualifications
Proven experience in retail sales or store management with supervising or leadership responsibilities; assistant manager experience is highly valued.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively across multiple tasks such as stocking, cashiering, inventory control, and customer service.
Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse customer bases.
Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems, retail math (pricing strategies), cash handling procedures, and basic bookkeeping practices.
Experience with inventory management software or systems for purchasing and stock control is preferred.
Ability to train staff effectively on retail operations including employee orientation and development programs.
Skilled in negotiation techniques for upselling products or resolving customer concerns positively.
Leadership qualities with previous supervising or team management experience; capable of motivating staff toward achieving sales targets.
Knowledge of marketing strategies within retail environments to support promotional activities.
