Job Summary


We are seeking a responsible and proactive Key Holder to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in managing daily store operations, supporting sales initiatives, and ensuring excellent customer service. As a Key Holder, you will be entrusted with opening and closing the store, supervising staff, and maintaining operational standards. This position offers an opportunity to develop leadership skills within a dynamic retail environment.

Responsibilities



Open and close the store following established procedures, ensuring security protocols are adhered to. Assist with daily store operations including inventory management, stocking, and merchandising. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and creating a welcoming shopping experience. Supervise team members during shifts, including training new employees and delegating tasks effectively. Support sales efforts through product knowledge, upselling, and promotional activities. Manage cash handling procedures accurately at POS terminals and ensure proper cash reconciliation. Oversee inventory control to prevent shortages or overstock situations. Assist with purchasing decisions and coordinate with suppliers as needed. Maintain organizational standards for cleanliness, safety, and store presentation. Support management in implementing marketing strategies and promotional campaigns.

Skills



Strong leadership and team management abilities with prior supervisory or assistant manager experience. Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in retail management systems such as POS, inventory management software, and basic bookkeeping tools. Ability to handle cash handling accurately and perform retail math calculations efficiently. Experience in merchandising, stocking, pricing strategies, and sales management. Knowledge of employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, training & development practices. Multilingual or bilingual skills are a plus for serving diverse customer bases. Organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with budgeting, marketing strategies, inventory control, purchasing, and store management processes. Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 29.0 per week
