Duties
Assist in managing daily store operations, ensuring all activities align with company standards and goals
Lead, motivate, and supervise sales associates to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service
Oversee inventory management, including stock replenishment, merchandising, and inventory control to maximize sales opportunities
Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a positive shopping experience
Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing, onboarding, employee orientation, and training new team members
Manage shift schedules, monitor payroll accuracy, and oversee cash handling procedures to maintain operational integrity
Implement marketing initiatives and promotional displays to boost store visibility and sales performance
Skills
Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles with supervisory responsibilities
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and foster a collaborative environment
Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
Proficiency in POS systems, retail math, pricing strategies, and sales management tools
Skilled in negotiation, purchasing, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and inventory management techniques
Demonstrated ability to handle cash handling accurately and perform cashiering duties efficiently
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks using time management strategies
Knowledge of merchandising standards, stock replenishment procedures, and store presentation best practices
Experience with marketing initiatives, wireless sales (if applicable), and grocery or specialty retail environments is advantageous
Strong administrative skills including training & development planning, budgeting oversight, and record-keeping
