Kennel Technician / Bather

to help us provide the highest level of care to our patients and exceptional service to our clients.

About the Position:

As a Kennel Technician and Bather, you will play a key role in ensuring our patients are comfortable, clean, and cared for. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who is reliable, caring, and eager to learn about animal care in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities include:

Providing daily care, feeding, and exercise for hospitalized and boarding pets Bathing, drying, and brushing dogs and cats Maintaining cleanliness and organization of kennels, treatment, and bathing areas Monitoring pets for signs of illness or distress and reporting concerns to veterinary staff Assisting veterinary technicians and doctors as needed Washing and folding laundry, cleaning dishes, and restocking supplies

Requirements:

Must be comfortable handling dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Experience in animal care or bathing/grooming preferred, but we are willing to train the right person

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
