About Us:
Ruff INN-It is an open and social dog boarding and daycare facility where pups play, relax, and feel at home. We pride ourselves on creating a safe, clean, and fun environment for every dog in our care -- and we're looking for a dependable, hard-working team member who shares our passion for animals.

Position Overview:
As a Kennel Technician, you'll be part of a hands-on team responsible for the daily care, safety, and happiness of our dogs. This includes feeding, cleaning, monitoring playgroups, and maintaining a positive and professional atmosphere. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, excellent attendance, and a flexible schedule -- including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities:

Supervise group play and ensure safe, positive interactions between dogs Clean and sanitize kennels, play areas, and common spaces Feed, water, and administer basic care to dogs according to individual needs Monitor dogs for signs of stress, illness, or injury and report to management Greet and communicate with clients in a friendly, professional manner Assist with check-ins, check-outs, and daily reports Follow all safety and cleaning protocols to maintain a healthy environment
Requirements:

Must love dogs and feel comfortable handling all breeds and sizes Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential, wanting long-term employment Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Team player with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods, take photos Previous animal care or kennel experience preferred (but not required - we're willing to train the right person!)
