Off Leash Excursions is a dog daycare facility dedicated to giving every dog a safe, clean, and loving environment on their journey to a forever home. We're looking for reliable, compassionate team members who love working with dogs and want to make a difference every day.

Position Overview

The Kennel Technician plays a key role in ensuring the health, safety, and happiness of the dogs in our care. This is a hands-on position that involves cleaning, feeding, walking, and monitoring dogs throughout the day. It's an excellent entry-level opportunity for anyone interested in a career working with animals, whether in veterinary care, dog training, rescue, or animal welfare.

Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize kennels, play yards, and common areas to maintain a safe, healthy environment

Feed, water, and monitor dogs according to their individual needs and schedules

Walk dogs on leash

Wash dishes, laundry, and other cleaning tasks as needed

Observe and report any health or behavior changes to management

Assist with intake, baths, and basic grooming when needed

Support adoption and rescue operations by helping dogs look and feel their best

Qualifications

Love and respect for all dogs, regardless of breed or background

Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions

Comfortable with physical work including lifting, walking, and cleaning

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Previous animal care experience is a plus but not required -- we'll train the right person!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
