The City of Conway is accepting applications for a Kennel Technician working in the Animal Services Department. Requirements are:


High School diploma or equivalent. Applicants without a diploma and at least 1 year of relevant experience may be considered. Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Must be willing to work in adverse physical environment (inclement weather.) Must be available to work rotating shifts starting at 6:00 a.m., Sunday through Saturday

Duties will include but are not limited to:


Clean and disinfect kennel area and cat room Supply food, water, and personal care to detained animals Clean and disinfect all areas of the Animal Welfare Unit Vaccinate and/or administer medication to animals as directed

Salary is $16.7092 per hour/$34,755.00 annually with a competitive benefits package.
