We want to provide a place, at a reasonable cost, for pets to be able to get the exercise, attention and love that they need when they have to be out of the home for the day or several days. All of our play time is supervised as we know just how quickly things can escalate in the wrong direction. The health and safety of all of the dogs is always our main priority.

HappyHounds is seeking a professional, friendly Kennel Assistant to represent our team and serve as a kennel technician for a variety of hours. Key responsibilities for this person include greeting guests when they arrive on-site, explaining doggy daycare, boarding, cleaning kennels, organizing and preparing food, playing with dogs in supervised yards through out the day and administration of medications.

Requirements for the ideal candidate include

:

High school diploma or equivalent Professional demeanor Two years of relevant work experience Familiarity with basic office software Ability to operate scanners, copiers and printers Organizational Skills People and Animal Friendly Highly motivated in a company that has growth potential

Key duties and responsibilities

Answer and direct all phone calls Greet all office guests Manage, clean and organize the front desk Answer guests' and employees' questions Process invoices and pay outstanding bills for company accounts Perform light bookkeeping and financial record-keeping Decorate the office for holidays and events Provide occasional tours of the facility Support the office manager and dog handlers
