About This Opportunity

Join our upscale dog boarding facility as a K9 Guest Service Specialist, where you'll provide exceptional overnight care for our four-legged guests. This position is ideal for college students or anyone seeking a peaceful work environment that allows for personal study time during quieter hours.

What You'll Do

Primary Responsibilities:

Monitor the safety and well-being of all K9 guests throughout the night Maintain structured routines including feeding schedules and medication administration Conduct regular wellness checks and document observations in software Provide enrichment activities (play) during active evening hours (6pm-9pm) Respond to any overnight needs or emergencies Maintain cleanliness standards in guest suites and common areas

Study-Friendly Environment:

After initial evening activities (typically 8pm-midnight), enjoy extended quiet periods perfect for: Online coursework and assignments Reading and research Test preparation Personal projects WiFi provided for your convenience Comfortable break area with desk space & bed

What We're Looking For

Must-Haves:

Genuine love for dogs and commitment to their wellbeing Reliability and strong attendance (your presence ensures pet safety) Ability to work independently during overnight hours Physical ability to lift 40 lbs and remain active during early shift hours Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments (all of our boarding dogs have completed our training and are extremely well behaved and not aggressive)

Nice-to-Have:

Currently enrolled in college/university (we support your academic success!) Pet first aid/CPR certification (we can provide training) Flexible availability for weekend or holiday coverage
