iCode Bellevue is a dynamic STEM education program offering classes and camps for ages 6-16 in coding, robotics, engineering, game design, cybersecurity, and more. We provide a collaborative, hands-on environment where students explore technology, problem-solving, and creativity.
We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable instructors to join our team for the school year. Instructors will teach STEM classes both at our Bellevue campus and at local partner schools. You'll inspire a love of technology in students while delivering iCode's engaging, project-based curriculum.
This is an
entry-level position
--prior professional teaching or computer science experience is not required, but applicants should demonstrate strong communication skills, a passion for technology, and the ability to engage K-12 students.
Instructors who wish to teach partners must have reliable transportation that can timely carry 30lbs of computer equipment to schools within a 7 mile radius of our iCode location.
Consistent availability required.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver iCode curriculum to students in a fun, engaging, and professional manner
Maintain a well-managed, positive classroom environment
Support students with individualized guidance and feedback
Prepare for classes by reviewing curriculum and testing projects in advance
Transport and set up class materials (for partner school assignments)
Qualifications
Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
Dependable and punctual, with reliable transportation (for partner school roles)
Able to lift and transport up to 30 lbs of equipment and materials
Enjoy working with K-12 students and creating a supportive learning experience
Basic familiarity with technology or coding is a plus
Teaching, tutoring, or camp experience is a plus
Schedule & Compensation
Part-time position during the school year (afternoons, evenings, and some weekends)
