Junior Software Engineer

Traxxas is looking for a talented individual to join our product SW Engineering team!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop C on No-OS and RTOS embedded microcontroller firmware with very interesting peripherals and sensors doing very interesting things.
• Expand our Android and iOS applications to answer design requirements such as "the app\'s dashboard has a speedometer".
• Utilize electronics, RF, and protocols to realize product firmware objectives such as "when the driver steers left, the truck turns left".
• Implement and debug our feedback control algorithms making our products fly.
• Apply continuous integration and test driven development to embedded systems that, literally, do not and won\'t sit still.
• Use 3rd party tools and systems such as Docker, VMs, Linux/Raspbian, Windows, Jenkins, SVN, git, build essentials, and Jira, to automate development operations so the SW team spends the majority of our time on new development.
• Analyze telemetry data with statistics to solve quandaries like "why does it only go 100MPH?"

REQUIREMENTS You may like this role if:
