The mechanical team at Jacobs is consistently tasked with the most interesting and complicated design challenges to help the Federal Government fulfill their mission. This role may be performed remotely. The Engineer in Training (EIT) will be responsible for supporting and working directly under profession engineers in completing the mechanical & plumbing designs for large Federal facilities across the United States and around the world. The EIT will assist with design-build & design-bid-build projects. The EIT must have a general knowledge of building HVAC and plumbing engineering approach. The EIT will take ownership of the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the projects working in conjunction with a technical team. Here\xe2\x80\x99s What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Need:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • At least 2 years relevant professional experience for buildings-related design projects
  • Proficiency in Revit, 3D CADD
  • United States Citizenship
Ideally, You\xe2\x80\x99ll Also Have:
  • Engineer in Training Certificate
  • Understanding of applicable international codes
  • Federal including DoD, Federal Civilian and/or Defense Contractor project experience
