Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Grove City, OH as an Information Technology Network Technician. The Network Technician will be responsible for managing and maintaining network infrastructure, performing network and system administration, and troubleshooting network issues. The Technician should have thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware and a variety of internet applications and operating systems.

Responsibilities

Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc.) Check computer hardware (HDD, mouses, keyboards etc.) to ensure functionality Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.) Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders

Qualifications

Expertise in Network Administration and System Administration Experience in troubleshooting network infrastructure issues Strong knowledge of Information Technology Ability to identify, diagnose and solve network problems in a timely and accurate manner Ability to manage and prioritize multiple technical issues in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical staff Experience with Windows Operating Systems and Networking Protocols Bachelors or Associate of Computer Science is a plusPlease note that this is not an entry-level position.
