Summary:

A Japanese IT service and solutions provider serving the automotive industry is looking for a motivated and skilled Junior IT Specialist.

Position Overview:

The

IT Specialist

is responsible for addressing customer inquiries, managing account registrations, and troubleshooting application-related issues. Additionally, they will develop detailed documentation, including technical guides and customer manuals.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the first point of contact for IT-related inquires and technical support. Manage and maintain organized records of inquiries in the ticketing system. Provide technical support for application-related issues, troubleshooting and diagnosing causes to offer solutions. Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate team or resource. Follow up on customer interactions and document inquiries, comments, and complaints. Assess and provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process. Translate system and application documentation between English and Japanese. Collaborate with team members to support customers effectively. Perform tasks requiring intermittent sitting, standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds, along with close and distance vision capabilities.*

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field IT support/help desk experience preferred Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking concepts Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer service skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment

Bonus Skills:

Knowledge of automotive R&D processes. Hands-on experience in IT networking and scripting. Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and cloud-based solutions Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified are a plus. Japanese language proficiency (JLPT N1-N5) preferred
