Job Overview

We are a Juice Bar/Cafe in Downtown Sarasota! We offer freshly made juice on the spot, fresh smoothies, iced and hot teas, acai bowls & gourmet toast. We prepare everything fresh to order.

Starting pay $17-$18 including tips. Advancement opportunities available.

We have two positions available:

- full-time - a mix of morning and afternoon shifts, must be able to work weekends

- part-time - evening shifts, must be able to work weekends

Duties

- Prepare and serve fresh juice, smoothies, acai bowls, tea, and gourmet toast

- Take customer orders and provide exceptional customer service

- Operate blenders and juicing machines

- Prepare food items quickly

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop

- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register

- Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and preparation

- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies

Requirements

- Must be able to make orders quickly and be comfortable in a busy and fast-paced environment

- Must be a fast learner and be able to stay focused without distractions.

- Must have good work ethics and be reliable and trustworthy.

- Must be a good team player.
- Experience in the food industry, particularly in a cafe setting, is preferred
- Strong math skills including basic math and retail math
- Proficiency in time management to ensure timely service
- Knowledge of food handling and preparation practices
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and help with various tasks as needed

Expected hours: 15 - 35 per week
