Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman/Wireman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Residential electrical work, demonstrating proficiency in various electrical systems and installations. This role requires a strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) . The Journeyman/Wireman Electrician will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems. Capable of Writing emails and calling work orders in to approval departments Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as ohmmeters to perform tasks effectively. Conduct high voltage and low voltage installations as required by project specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to execute projects accurately. Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to ensure seamless integration of electrical work with overall project goals. Perform renovation tasks that involve electrical modifications or upgrades. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on construction sites to minimize risks. Provide maintenance person services as needed for minor repairs or adjustments related to electrical installations.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an electrician, with a focus in Residential work. Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documents related to electrical systems. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable. Experience working with high voltage systems as well as low voltage applications. Competence in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
