Your Role: Night Shift: 7pm -7 am

The

Jockey Driver

is directly responsible for the safe and orderly movement of product in a paper manufacturing facility. The Jockey Driver specializes in the use of powered industrial vehicles, WMS systems, and the utilization of yard jockey trucks. The Yard Jockey/Driver primary job responsibility is the accurate, safe, and orderly movement of trailers in the trailer yard.

Key Accountabilities:

Safely inspect and operate powered industrial vehicles. Utilize WMS systems and barcode scanners. Complete daily objectives at the direction of the Shift-Coordinator with limited supervision. Move product to and from production lines. Load and Unload Trailers. Accurately pick, move, and count products. Inspect, count, and reconcile products. Adhere to all facility safety, operational, and quality SOPs. Safely inspect and operate a Jockey Truck or Over-the-Road Tractor. Safely and accurately move trailers in the trailer yard. Accurately conduct yard checks.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

2 to 4 years experience in a manufacturing environment. 2 to 4 years experience using barcode scanning and WMS systems. 3 to 5 years experience utilizing sit-down forklifts and clamp trucks. 3 to 5 years experience utilizing Over-the-Road tractors or jockey trucks. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Good conflict resolution skills. Run, maneuver, navigate, or drive vehicles or mechanized equipment, such as forklifts and passenger vehicles. Must be able to perform routine inspections of powered industrial equipment. Must be able to manage multiple priorities. Basic computer skills such as Microsoft Outlook and Office.
