Job Purpose

As a

, you will play a key role in helping adults with disabilities thrive in their jobs and develop greater independence. You'll provide one-on-one, hands-on support at job sites throughout

Oakland County

, ensuring that each individual feels confident, capable, and valued at work.

Duties and Responsibilities

Accompany and support program participants at their workplace. Provide individualized, one-on-one job coaching to help participants learn and complete job tasks successfully. Reinforce positive work habits, social skills, and professional behavior. Collaborate closely with employers, supervisors, and the Dutton Farm team to ensure smooth communication and success on the job. Identify barriers to success and help develop creative, strengths-based solutions. Maintain accurate daily notes, reports, and documentation in accordance with Dutton Farm policies. Promote safety and well-being at all times, reporting concerns promptly to management. Monitor progress toward employment goals and celebrate each success.

Qualifications

Mission aligned Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities High school diploma required Must be 18 years or older Must pass background check Must complete training within 30 days of employment Commit to a particular schedule based on individual's job schedule Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Maintain a professional demeanor with a focus on advocacy, respect, and demonstrating a strong work ethic Must be self-motivated, reliable, and dependable Strong ability to adapt and willingness to be flexible
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.55 per hour
