Skills and Duties:

Heavy Equipment Operation:

Use a JLG lift to load, unload, and transfer large quantities of scrap metal. Use various types of power tools Perform daily pre-inspections of the JLG Lift and reporting any mechanical issues to appropriate supervisor Perform minor repairs to the JLG lift
Communication:

Work with supervisors and other team members to ensure smooth and efficient yard operations Have a legible handwriting Following Directions is Mandatory
Other skills:

Math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) Use a scale to weigh scrap materials Be able to work independently and as part of a team Self Discipline Problem Solving Skills Be able to adapt in different work situations Be able to manage time effectively Responsible Be able to perform your responsibilities and duties in a noisy and dusty outdoor environment, in all types of weather
Safety Compliance and Responsibility

Clear debris and other potential hazards from work area Follow all company policies and external regulations including OSHA standards Able to pass a pre employment Drug and Alcohol Screening Able to pass random drug and alcohol testing
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
