Essential Job Functions

The position requires the resource to reside in Puerto Rico

Support the development and configuration of a variety of areas including, but not limited to Service Portal, Change, Problem, Incident, Service Catalog, Knowledge, Release/SDLC, Configuration Management (CMDB), Discovery, Project, Reporting, and SLAs.

Identify, create, and execute test cases for system and other software platforms including the creation of Automated Test Framework functionality.

Collaborate with team members to define, analyze, understand, and document business and technical requirements.

Design and develop/configure workflows, forms, scripts, and underlying logic using SCRUM / Agile methodologies.

Participate in upgrades.

Offer technical solutions to address requirements, evaluate alternate solutions, and perform analysis to determine technical courses of action.

Grow junior talent through mentoring, partnership, and technical reviews.

Maintain current industry certifications, while obtaining additional certifications.

Lead, author, and contribute to IT-related, technical processes reviews and continual process improvement.

Create estimations on the effort required to produce ServiceNow functionality.

Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

3 to 5 years of experience working within an enterprise environment.

3 to 5 years of development/implementation/administrative experience including experience working with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, XML, SOAP, YAML) on platforms like ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.

Excellent understanding of the Agile software testing process and lifecycle.

Understanding of IT service management and common service level agreement measurements.

Has experience leading development and/or test teams.

Can identify, understand, document, and create functionality aligning with customer value streams.

Can produce the level of estimates and basic deployment plans.

Strong organization and time management skills while working in a rapid software development environment.

Excellent collaboration skills and can effectively work in a team environment.

Speaks and writes in English fluently, strong communication skills.

Associate\'s Degree or Bachelor\'s Degree in related areas.

Work Environment

Remote work available for Puerto Rico residents

Office environment, flexibility to work on client\xe2\x80\x99s schedule

Availability to travel to the Municipality of Isabela if necessary

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the DXC salary range for this position. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

The range listed is just one component of DXC\'s employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a vacation policy and region-specific benefits.

At DXC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at /near the top of the range. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $43,900.00 - $65,900.00 USD.
