A travel agency is looking for an experienced

Japanese / English Bilingual Travel Agent

in the Manhattan area. You will be responsible for building and maintaining a good relationship with the company's current and future clients, and handle both domestic and international destination for both inbound and outbound travel. This is a Full time and direct hire position.

Japanese / English Bilingual Trave Agent

-Sell domestic and international travel booking for air, car, hotel and other activities for leisure and business travel
-Share knowledge and expertise from personal experiences and/or education study trips
-Counsel clients on all aspects of travel planning and reservation
-Develop along standings relationships with our customers and build referral and repeat business
-Make appropriate recommendation to ensure the trip experience is tailored to the customer's expectations
-Responsible for issuing all tickets, re-issuing and re-calculating fares
-Other duties as assigned

Japanese / English Bilingual Travel Agent:

-1-3 Years experience selling leisure travel or business travel
-Must be bilingual in Japanese and English, for speaking, reading, writing (JLPT N2 level or above)
-Previous related work experience in the travel industry is required.
-Knowledge of GDS (Global Distribution System) is a big plus
-Ability to prioritize workloads and work to deadlines
-Excellent communications and team working skills
-Passion for travel
-Solid communication and interpersonal skills
-Comfortable with providing sales in a service environment
-Computer savvy with the ability to navigate between multiple systems

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
