3 in our Quincy, MA office

1-2 in our Woburn, MA office

A co-op student\'s work may be related to drinking water, wastewater, and/or stormwater projects. A co-op may also be exposed to other areas such as environmental science, solid waste, and/or traffic and transportation. Work typically includes design, permitting, and construction administration.

Co-op work is divided into office work and fieldwork. The type of work and extent of responsibility depends mainly on the aptitude of the student but is also affected by the time of year and current project schedule. Field work may include surveying, construction observations and environmental monitoring.

Job Requirements:

Valid driver\'s license.

At a minimum, interested candidates should either be currently enrolled in or have completed the following civil engineering or equivalent courses: Statics & Strength of Materials (CIVE2221), Civil Engineering Materials (CIVE2260), Materials & Measurements Laboratory (CIVE2261), and Environmental Engineering (CIVE2334).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

Experience in AutoCAD and GIS mapping software (Esri products) preferred.

Must possess solid technical and problem-solving skills.
