Janitor/Maintenance Assistant

Janitorial



Sweep and mop dining rooms after each meal.


Sweep and mop common areas to include halls and nurses' stations daily.



Maintain floor scrubber and operate on a schedule.



Clean and sanitize hand rails and common areas.



Make regular rounds of trash pick-up, including offices, copy room, staff bathrooms, outside patios and porches.



Clean up cigarette butts and other trash from grounds and patio area daily.



Assist with resident room changes as needed.



Perform other tasks as needed and directed by supervisor.



Cross train with housekeeping



Maintenance Assistant



Assist Maintenance Supervisor with plumbing, painting and other general repairs.



Communicate with Maintenance Supervisor on needed repairs.



Meet with vendors as needed.
