Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in various cleaning and custodial tasks, ensuring a hygienic and well-organized environment for staff and visitors. This role involves performing routine cleaning, floor care, and minor maintenance duties to uphold our high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal in designated areas Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, polishing, and carpet cleaning to maintain a professional appearance Handle custodial tasks for both residential and commercial spaces, ensuring all areas are sanitized and organize. Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to safety protocols Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing Ensure all work areas meet health and safety standards by following proper procedures Support industrial cleaning projects as needed, including specialized cleaning tasks

Experience

Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred, especially in commercial or industrial settings Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing and polishing Experience with residential painting or facilities maintenance is a plus Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies used in commercial or industrial environments Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team Ability to follow safety guidelines diligently and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
