Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Worker to maintain cleanliness and safety across various facilities. This role is essential in ensuring a hygienic, organized, and welcoming environment for employees, clients, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and custodial services, with the ability to perform a variety of maintenance tasks efficiently and professionally.

Duties

Perform routine cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to ensure surfaces are spotless and well-maintained Handle industrial cleaning tasks such as deep cleaning of machinery or large spaces as needed Maintain supplies inventory and notify management when stock is low Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or repairing fixtures Ensure all areas are sanitized according to health and safety standards Follow established safety procedures during all cleaning and maintenance activities Support additional custodial duties such as trash removal, window washing, and furniture polishing

Requirements

Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred, especially in commercial or industrial settings Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and carpet extraction Experience with facilities maintenance or general cleaning is a plus Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Reliable work ethic with the ability to work independently or as part of a team Good communication skills and a proactive attitude toward maintaining facility standards

Pay: $22.50 - $27.50 per hour
