Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of commercial facilities, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal to uphold high standards of cleanliness. Conduct detailed floor care procedures such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces. Execute custodial tasks across various environments, ensuring restrooms, lobbies, offices, and common areas are hygienic and organized. Assist with industrial cleaning projects and facilities maintenance tasks to support operational efficiency. Support porter duties by moving supplies, furniture, or equipment as needed throughout the premises. Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring everything is in good working order for optimal performance. Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning and maintenance activities to promote a secure work environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience in janitorial or custodial work within commercial or residential settings. Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and industrial cleaning methods. Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or equipment upkeep is a plus. Ability to operate cleaning machinery like buffers or floor scrubbers safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards. Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts.
