Overview We are seeking a dedicated Janitorial professional to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. This role involves performing routine cleaning tasks to ensure a hygienic, organized, and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in various cleaning disciplines, including commercial, industrial, and residential settings, and possess a strong attention to detail. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a well-maintained facility while developing skills in custodial maintenance and floor care. Responsibilities Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across multiple areas of the facility Conduct specialized cleaning tasks including floor buffing, carpet cleaning, and surface sanitation Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, offices, and public spaces according to established standards Handle custodial responsibilities involving the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as painting touch-ups or light repairs as needed Follow safety protocols related to industrial cleaning and facilities maintenance Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred, especially in commercial or industrial environments Skills in floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, and sealing floors are highly desirable Experience with residential painting or facilities maintenance is a plus Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and safety procedures is essential Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety standards Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are necessary for maintaining high cleanliness standards
