Responsibilities
Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas including offices, restrooms, hallways, lobbies, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment.
Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces.
Handle waste disposal and recycling procedures efficiently to promote environmental sustainability.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; notify management when supplies need replenishing or repairs are required
Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries.
Support industrial cleaning projects or specialized custodial tasks as needed in various settings including commercial or residential properties.
Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards and are ready for daily operations or special events.
Qualifications
Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial, industrial, or residential settings is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care procedures, and the proper use of cleaning equipment such as buffers and extractors.
Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, lifting heavy objects, and operating cleaning machinery for extended periods.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus.
Prior experience with industrial cleaning or porter duties is advantageous.
