Position Overview

The

Janitorial / Sanitation Associate

is responsible for ensuring that all areas of the store are clean, sanitized, and maintained according to YOL Juice Market's health and safety standards. This is an essential behind-the-scenes role that keeps our workspace safe, efficient, and welcoming.

Key Responsibilities

Wash, rinse, sanitize, and put away all dishes, utensils, and small equipment. Clean and disinfect sinks, counters, and food prep areas. Wipe down all kitchen equipment and surfaces at the end of the day. Clean and restock bathrooms (toilets, sinks, mirrors, paper, and soap dispensers). Sweep and mop daily. Power wash floor mats and trash cans as needed. Empty trash and take waste to the designated disposal area. Clean vents, replace filters, and maintain overall air quality in the workspace. Wipe interior and exterior windows as needed. Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.

Requirements

Must be punctual, dependable, and able to follow checklists and direction. Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs and standing during the shift. Experience in janitorial, kitchen, or food-service cleaning preferred. Must take pride in your work and attention to detail -- cleanliness matters here! Positive attitude and team player mindset.
