Janitorial Assistant - Associated Veterinary Clinic
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Janitorial Assistant to help maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in our busy veterinary clinic. This role is essential to the health and comfort of our patients, clients, and staff.
Primary Duties Include:
Thorough cleaning and sanitizing of the entire clinic throughout the day Laundry services (towels, bedding, blankets, etc.) Cleaning and disinfecting kennels and animal housing areas Walking and caring for patients admitted for the day Assisting veterinary staff with safely restraining animals when needed
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods of time Frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, and getting up and down from the floor Ability to lift and carry moderate weight Comfortable working around animals of various sizes and temperaments
Qualifications:
Dependable with strong attention to detail Comfortable around dogs and cats Ability to follow cleaning and safety protocols Team-oriented with a willingness to help where needed Prior cleaning or veterinary experience is a plus, but not required
