Job Summary

The Area Supervisor is a HANDS ON cleaning position.

Comes with a Company Car, Company Credit Card, Company Gas Card.

You are responsible for cleaning and supervising about 12 people from South of Atlanta to Surrounding borders. (NOT ATLANTA) About 140 small locations

You are also responsible to fill in if someone calls off, or vacation.

We need someone that can hustle, grind, and have flexibility, and have great communication.

Picking up extras hours by covering calloffs or vacations will give you extra income.

This position is responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role involves managing custodial staff, performing cleaning tasks, and maintaining equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in janitorial services and facilities maintenance, with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of custodial staff to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed effectively and on schedule. Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing various areas. Oversee floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, and waxing to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Conduct inspections of facilities to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards and address any maintenance issues promptly. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that all materials are stocked and in good working condition. Provide training and support to custodial staff on best practices for cleaning techniques and safety protocols. Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring that all areas are maintained according to health and safety regulations.

Skills

Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial services, or custodial roles is essential. Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing and maintenance of various flooring types. Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and industrial cleaning standards is preferred. Experience in facilities maintenance or porter roles is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with staff and occupants. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
