We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our dynamic facilities team! Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies Conduct routine floor care including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance Handle trash removal and recycling processes efficiently to ensure cleanliness throughout the facility Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any repairs or shortages promptly Follow safety procedures during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health standards Support industrial cleaning projects or specialized custodial tasks when required to meet operational needs

Requirements

Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial, residential, or industrial settings Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care including buffing and polishing, and facilities maintenance practices Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, carpet cleaners, and pressure washers safely and effectively Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues promptly Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends if necessary
