Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of floors, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet care to keep surfaces spotless and safe. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, hallways, offices, and common areas by sanitizing surfaces, restocking supplies, and ensuring hygiene standards are met. Conduct detailed trash removal and recycling processes to uphold environmental standards. Use industrial cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, pressure washers, and carpet cleaners to achieve professional results. Assist with light maintenance tasks including minor repairs, painting touch-ups in residential or commercial spaces, and facilities upkeep. Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Maintain organized storage of cleaning supplies and equipment for efficiency and safety. Support additional custodial duties as needed to ensure the facility remains clean, safe, and welcoming at all times.

Requirements

Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, stripping, sealing, and general sanitation practices. Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers and industrial vacuums safely and effectively. Experience with facilities maintenance tasks like minor repairs or painting is a plus. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness standards. Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts. Reliable work ethic with the ability to follow instructions meticulously and work independently or as part of a team.
