Position Overview

Xplicit Technologies, LLC is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Janitorial Technician to support janitorial services at the Bessey Ranger District and Nursery in Halsey, Nebraska. This position supports a federal facility operated by the U.S. Forest Service and requires professionalism, consistency, and attention to detail.

This position is contingent upon contract award. Final hiring and onboarding will occur only after the Government awards the contract.

The facility is approximately 7,600 square feet, consisting of offices, public areas, restrooms, breakroom, conference room, hallways, and mechanical/utility spaces.

After normal business hours (evenings, weekends, or approved holidays)

3-5 hours per week

, with additional hours during scheduled monthly, bi-annual, and annual deep-cleaning services Services may be adjusted during periods when background checks are pending, as required by the Government.
Scope of Work

This position includes routine cleaning as well as periodic deep-cleaning services as outlined below:

Weekly Services (Routine Cleaning)

Clean and sanitize restrooms (toilets, sinks, mirrors, dispensers, baby changing stations) Vacuum carpets in public areas, hallways, reception, and offices Sweep and mop hard floors Clean windows in public entry areas Empty trash and recycling; replace liners as needed Clean breakroom surfaces, floors, sinks, and counters Wipe down mail, copy, and common-use areas Maintain overall cleanliness of public and employee spaces
Monthly Services (Detailed Cleaning)

Move lightweight furniture to vacuum underneath desks, chairs, and tables Vacuum under electrical cords and hard-to-reach areas Dust below 6-foot level on windowsills, shelves, cabinets, partitions, and furniture (excluding desktops) Clean and sanitize restroom metal stall walls Clean tile floors in mechanical, telecommunications, storage, and janitorial rooms Spot treat stains and heavily soiled areas
Bi-Annual Services (April & October)

Detail vacuuming along carpet edges using crevice tools around walls and fixed furniture High dusting above 6-foot level, including tops of bookcases and high surfaces
Annual Services (June)

Clean and condition doors and door frames (wood, metal, painted surfaces) Clean all interior and exterior windows Dust, vacuum, and/or clean blinds based on material type Vacuum upholstered chairs; clean vinyl and wood chairs appropriately Clean baseboards throughout the facility Clean restroom tile walls using appropriate surface-safe products
Pay & Compensation

Hourly Rate:

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour (based on experience) Paid for all hours worked, including additional hours during monthly, bi-annual, and annual service periods
Requirements

Ability to work independently and follow detailed cleaning procedures Comfortable working after hours with minimal supervision Must be dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented Must be able to pass a Government background check (HSPD-12 / USDA PIV process) Must comply with federal facility security requirements (restricted access, badge/passcode rules) Ability to lift cleaning equipment and supplies as needed Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred but not required
Security & Conduct

This is a secure federal facility. Contractor personnel must follow strict access, safety, and conduct policies. No unauthorized individuals may enter the building. All work must be performed in accordance with facility rules and Government oversight.
Contingency Statement (Required)

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Candidates may be interviewed and selected in advance; however, employment will begin only after the contract is formally awarded by the U.S. Government.
