Job Description

The Janitor will ensure a clean, sanitary, and compliant environment within our 503B pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. This position is crucial for maintaining both the interior and exterior cleanliness of the premises, contributing to a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all employees and visitors.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6 AM - 3 PM

Pay: $20-22/hour

Duties/Responsibilities:

Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of office areas, warehouse, restrooms, break rooms, and meeting rooms.*
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; dust and wipe down surfaces, including furniture, equipment, and windows.*
Dispose of waste and recycling materials in accordance with facility policies.*
Use approved cleaning agents and techniques to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, particularly in sensitive areas.*
Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and assist with ordering and restocking as necessary.*
Support the setup and breakdown of areas for meetings and training sessions.*
Respond to urgent cleaning requests and emergencies in a timely manner.*
Follow all safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.*
Maintain cleaning equipment and report any malfunctions or needs for repair.*
Ensure that the grounds are well-kept by maintaining cleanliness around the perimeter of the facility.*

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in janitorial or custodial services, preferably in a pharmaceutical or regulated environment. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling techniques, especially in a manufacturing context. Attention to detail with a strong commitment to cleanliness and safety. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting. Good physical stamina and ability to lift and move objects as required.
