Hammond Lumber Company, voted 2025's Best Places to Work in Maine, is seeking a Full-Time Janitor for our Belgrade, Maine location.
Job Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, trash removal, restroom cleaning and sanitizing, dusting office furniture, displays, and all other surfaces. Maintains the order and cleanliness of multiple lunchrooms and facilities within the Belgrade Hammond Lumber location Maintains all cleaning materials and equipment in a safe and sanitary manner. Manages seasonal and as needed cleaning projects.

Requirements:
A clean and valid license is required Must have physical stamina and mobility including, but not limited to, the ability to reach, kneel, bend, lift, push and pull Must have good attention to detail Must be reliable Must have the ability plan and organize job priorities daily * Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers and management
