Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

Sorts dried articles according to type Folds and places items in appropriate storage area Sorts torn and stained articles Sorts and counts articles to verify quantities on laundry requisitions Soaks contaminated articles and processes in de-staining cycle Clean lint traps and weeps laundry room Loads articles into washer, driers and ironers Starts machine that automatically washes and rinses articles Lifts clean, wet articles from washer and places them successfully into the driers for measured time cycles Ensure that hotel linen is properly folded as directed and accurate inventory is kept Must properly utilize laundry equipment as needed All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures

Skills, Education and Other Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required Ability to read, analyze and interpret OSHA required Safety Data Sheets (SDS) Identification that establishes identity * Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
