IT Technician / Sales Specialist

, where you'll deliver exceptional technical support, maintain IT environments, and help customers choose the right technology solutions. This role blends hands-on troubleshooting, customer service, networking, device imaging, and sales.

You will work

closely with an experienced Microsoft Engineer

, giving you direct access to high-level mentorship, training, and ongoing support. This is a rare opportunity to grow fast in both IT and customer-facing roles while making a meaningful impact on clients' systems, security, and workflow efficiency.

ResponsibilitiesTechnical Support & IT Operations



Deliver comprehensive support for Windows, macOS, and Linux systems. Diagnose and resolve issues involving hardware, software, corrupt OS installs, and system performance. Perform imaging, backups, disk cloning, system restorations, and malware removal. Install, configure, and upgrade desktops, laptops, and peripherals. Manage local networks (LAN), VPNs, routers, switches, and firewalls. Troubleshoot connectivity issues including DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi, and VLAN-related tasks. Perform routine system checks, updates, and patching for security and stability. Educate customers on cybersecurity best practices: VPN usage, safe browsing, MFA, and firewall basics. Use ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira, BMC Remedy, or similar) to log incidents and track resolutions.

Sales, Customer Interaction, & Communication



Greet customers professionally and provide calm, confident support during escalated situations. Upsell relevant services (backups, OS reinstall, security upgrades, networking enhancements, data recovery). Assist customers in choosing the correct product or service based on their needs. Create proposals, quotes, and detailed presentations using AI tools when needed. Manage appointments, scheduling, and calendars. Follow up with clients and close service tickets, estimates, and repair orders. Handle invoicing and billing through

QuickBooks Online

. Maintain detailed documentation, hardware inventories, network configurations, and customer notes.

RequirementsTechnical Skills



Strong understanding of Windows and macOS; Linux experience is a plus. Experience with hardware installation, replacement, and troubleshooting. Knowledge of imaging, backup tools, and OS recovery techniques. Understanding of servers, routers, switches, VPNs, LAN/WAN, and firewalls. Ability to diagnose issues with applications such as Microsoft Office and other productivity tools. Familiarity with help desk tools ( RepairShoppr, RepairDesk, Jira, BMC Remedy, Freshdesk, etc.).

Customer Service & Sales



Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to de-escalate upset or frustrated customers with professionalism. Experience in upselling or sales-driven IT environments is highly valued. Strong organizational skills for follow-ups, client management, and scheduling. Comfortable creating proposals and using AI tools for research and presentations.

Preferred (Not Required)



CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ Microsoft certifications MSP experience Bilingual (English/Spanish)
