We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our dynamic technology support team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, managing computer systems, and maintaining IT infrastructure to ensure seamless operations across the organization. Responsibilities



Provide technical support and desktop support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues efficiently. Manage computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and software applications including Microsoft Office suite. Configure and maintain computer networks, including LAN, VPN, and firewall setups to ensure secure connectivity. Troubleshoot software problems using tools such as BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, Jira, and Help Desk systems. Assist with the setup and maintenance of IT infrastructure components such as servers, switches, and routers. Perform routine maintenance on computer hardware and peripherals to prevent issues before they arise. Document incidents and resolutions accurately in ticketing systems to support ongoing IT operations. Collaborate with team members to improve existing processes and implement new solutions for better system performance.

Experience



Proven experience in technical support or desktop support roles within an IT environment. Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux. Hands-on experience with computer networking concepts such as LAN setup, VPN configuration, firewalls, and network troubleshooting. Familiarity with IT management tools like ServiceNow, Jira, BMC Remedy, or similar ticketing systems. Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware components and understanding of computer hardware architecture. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users. Customer service orientation with a focus on delivering prompt and effective solutions. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
