This role is hands-on, independent in the field, but backed by our

software, systems, and support infrastructure

that help you succeed and build a strong reputation.

Duties

Provide technical support for hardware and software issues across various operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux. Manage computer networking tasks, including VPN setup, firewall configurations, and LAN troubleshooting. Assist with desktop support by diagnosing and resolving user issues related to computer hardware and software. Utilize help desk tools such as BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, and Jira to track and manage support requests effectively. Conduct software troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance of applications used by clients. Maintain effective communication with customers to provide updates on issue resolution progress. Collaborate with team members to improve IT processes and enhance service delivery. Document all technical procedures and solutions for future reference.

Experience

Proven experience in technical support roles, particularly in IT support or desktop support environments. Strong knowledge of computer management principles, including hardware components and operating systems. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other productivity tools. Experience in managing IT infrastructure components such as networks, firewalls, and VPNs is preferred. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
