We are looking for a motivated and tech-savvy

IT Support Technician

to join our IT team in an entry-level capacity. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about technology and eager to grow their skills. The position combines IT Helpdesk Tier 1 responsibilities with hands-on hardware support. You'll assist end users with common IT issues while also supporting the setup, maintenance, and repair of hardware equipment across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide first-line support for end-user IT issues via phone, email, or in person. Assist with password resets, software installations, and basic troubleshooting. Log and track support requests using a ticketing system. Escalate complex issues to senior technicians as needed. Follow documented procedures and contribute to knowledge base updates. Set up and configure desktops, laptops, monitors, and peripherals. Assist with hardware troubleshooting and basic repairs. Support imaging and deployment of devices for new users. Help maintain IT asset inventory and perform basic cable management. Perform equipment moves, setups, and occasional lifting of hardware. Have a clear understanding of system policies and procedures. Regular and predictable attendance.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in IT or a related field is a plus. Basic understanding of computer hardware and common operating systems (Windows/macOS). Strong interest in IT and a willingness to learn on the job. Troubleshooting and problem solving skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to follow instructions, document work, and work well in a team. Ability to remain organized and well-structured in a fast-paced environment with a focus on customer service.
