We are seeking a self-motivated, energetic IT Support Technician to join our team in Pomfret, CT. The ideal candidate must be a safety-conscious, detail-oriented, team player with strong follow-up skills. If this is you, we want to hear from you!
IT Support Technician I
As a member of the Direct Customer Support / Helpdesk Team, the IT Support Technician provides assistance with the maintenance, functionality and efficiency of IT Systems across all Loos/Central Wire locations, including desktop computers, printers, scanners, application software and other peripherals. This role may also be required to assist with IT projects and strategic planning, as well as identifying, maintaining, tracking, and deploying various technologies. Travel to other CWI sites may be required from time to time. Other duties will be assigned as necessary.
Preferred experience
1 - 3 years IT support/helpdesk experience (preferred)
Service and / or systems support experience a plus
Strong analytical troubleshooting skills
Organized and detail oriented
Strong customer service skills are a must
Understanding of Windows operating systems installation and configuration, Active Directory/Windows domains
Experience with Microsoft Office 2019/365 Suite
Experience with PC hardware build and repair
Knowledge of TCP/IP networking protocols
Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals
Help desk: 1 year (Preferred)
Windows: 1 year (Preferred)
