POSITION SUMMARY:
The IT Support Specialist (PTS) resolves incoming user support requests regarding software technologies involved in the FPS PTS program.
PAY: $38.46/hr
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure the company Post Tracking System (PTS) tablets are completely operable at all times.
- Maintain PTS tablets, build, troubleshoot, configure and manage.
- Administer and troubleshoot PTS.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
- Train users, supervisors and managers on PTS.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- One year of IT Customer Support experience required.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance.
- Ability to test software and hardware to evaluate ease of use and whether product will aid user in performing work.
- Write and/or revises user training manuals and procedures.
- Train users on software and hardware onsite or in classroom
- Technical support experience:
- Microsoft Windows 2008/2012 Server
- Microsoft Active Directory
- Microsoft Exchange
- Microsoft Office 365
- Microsoft Windows 7 / 10
- May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.
- Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.
