Computerease, a growing IT Services firm in the Chicago area with a 41 year history, has an open position for an experienced Information Technology Specialist. The individual in this role will be a key part of the team which supports our business clients and their IT needs. Typical duties include:

Remote and on-site IT helpdesk support Remote and on-site IT server support Remote and on-site IT network support Remote and on-site VOIP support Assist with project planning and implementation Assist with documentation projects Learn and test new products
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills at a minimum:

Microsoft Systems Administration Microsoft 365 & Office 365 Experience Familiarity with other Microsoft Cloud offerings such as Azure Familiarity with VOIP Experience using RMM, PSA, Ticketing & Documentation tools A working knowledge of and desire to learn computer information technologies A willingness to provide on-site service to business clients in the Greater Chicagoland area. (We provide a company vehicle for onsite work) Experience with Microsoft server operating systems Server 2012 thru 2025 Firewalls (Sophos, Sonicwall, Meraki, Fortinet, etc) & Security Networking fundamentals A professional appearance The ability to communicate technical ideas in simple terms Customer satisfaction oriented Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills Ability to prioritize and multitask
In this position you will be primarily based as 'work from home', however, travel to client sites throughout the Chicagoland area will be necessary. At the present, the onsite work at client sites is minimal, however, that will be steadily increasing over time.

You will be provided with company issued technology which will be used in your day to day work. A company owned vehicle will be provided for any work at client sites. Upon joining our team, training in our main St. Louis office will be necessary for approximately 1 week.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
