The IT Sourcing Specialist is responsible for optimizing cost, quality, and delivery of IT products and services, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring efficient business processes. The role involves achieving cost savings, maintaining supplier viability, and overseeing procurement, AR/AP, and tax management. Strong knowledge of IT commodities, financial processes, and supplier negotiation is essential to achieve organizational goals.

Cost, Quality & Delivery Improvement


Must educate themselves with regards to the IT commodities they are responsible for and maintain a good working knowledge of the Company's service scope. Works with all the facets of the organization to achieve various financial and strategic goals and metrics. Achieves annual productivity (cost savings) goals. IT products and services meet quality, price and delivery expectations (KPI)

Supplier Management


This position will be responsible for development of DDIA suppliers. Some travel may be involved in the establishment and sustainment of sound relationships and the verification of supplier capabilities. This position must keep abreast of market conditions, leading technologies and changes within the supplier's organization that may affect our relationship. Business Process Management


Manage purchase orders within the segregation of duty guidelines including PO requisition submission, accounting string assignment, receipt of services and hand-off to AP to complete the procure to pay cycle. Manage AR processing to cover all DDIA service delivery for Project and Operational costs to cover the order to cash cycle. Work with the IT Sourcing Manager, CEO & CFO to define cash flow impacts and/or investment opportunities. Manage sales & use tax exemption certificates. Understand the tax implications of all agreements and transactions. Revenue and Cost targets (KPI) Supplier Payment Management (KPI) AR/AP Task Tracking and Completion (KPI) Tax management (KPI)

Job Requirement

Bachelor's Degree - Business Administration or Finance Must be able to communicate with everyone within an organization from IT demand management to IT service delivery to Chief Executive Officers of major corporations. Must have excellent negotiation skills and be able to leverage volume discounts (across Doosan business units and with DDI), offshore staffing and other strategic cost reduction opportunities. Must practice good judgement which allows the individual to commit to the most appropriate action after considering alternate courses of action. Must have a solid understanding of core business processes and the ability to automate them on leading ERP business systems Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong Microsoft Excel skills for financial reporting 3+ years of experience 5-10% travel
