Job DetailsFull-time 40-hour work weeks. Support the Information Services Division. Salary is based on education and experience. This is an on-site position located in Oklahoma City, OK.

Position Summary
The IT Quality Governance Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and compliance of IT systems and services across the enterprise. This position is responsible for leading, executing, and governing quality assurance (QA) practices, facilitating user acceptance testing (UAT), and supporting application development teams through structured testing and documentation processes. In addition to collaborating closely with project managers, business analysts, and agency product owners to uphold QA standards, this role is responsible for training agency staff on QA methodologies and the use of test tracking tools such as Azure DevOps. The specialist will also contribute to the governance and continuous improvement of QA processes, ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide standards and best practices.
Key ResponsibilitiesTrains agency business partners on QA processes, Azure DevOps Test Plans for test and bug management and user acceptance testing (UAT) test facilitation. Collaborate with project managers, business analysts and agency product owners concerning Quality Assurance methodology and test tracking processes. Reviews Quality Assurance specifications for compliance with departmental, division and agency Quality Assurance standards. Provides applications development and other unit personnel with quality assurance information required to support application development and other activities. Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts. Evaluates, tests, and validates IT systems, services, and software. Documents issues, track progress, and escalate problems as needed. Execute testing procedures to ensure software meets established quality standards. Create and update business processes and test scripts Isolate, reproduce, and track defects, then verify fixes Conducts appropriate tests to ensure compatibility of new or modified programs with operating system requirements; uses quality assurance processes and tools to ensure system implementation Monitors vendors or suppliers for compliance with established and contracted quality standards Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
This position works in a comfortable office setting with a computer for a large percentage of the workday. The noise level in the work environment is usually mild. Occasional travel may be required.
Minimum Qualifications
Requirements include the completion of at least twelve semester hours of information technology coursework from an accredited college or university and a minimum of four years of professional experience in Quality Assurance or a related IT field.
Preference will be given to candidates who possess
Experience in writing test plans and test cases, using test repositories such as Azure DevOps, applying Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles and QA methodologies, utilizing automated testing tools such as Selenium, Postman, or Katalon, and experience in mentoring, guiding, and training others on QA processes and tools.
