The Position:
The Project Setup Specialist is responsible for setting up and configuring projects within the ERP system based on support tickets and contract details. This role involves interpreting customer contracts, configuring project details in the ERP system, updating rate templates, and managing phase codes to ensure accurate project setup and execution.
Key Responsibilities:

• Project Setup:

• Review and analyze support tickets containing project details and requirements.
• Set up and configure projects in the ERP system according to the provided specifications.
• Ensure all project details, including scope, timelines, and deliverables, are accurately entered into the system.
• Contract Interpretation:

• Read and interpret customer contracts to extract relevant project information.
• Ensure that all contractual obligations and requirements are reflected in the ERP system setup.
• Communicate with project managers and stakeholders to clarify contract details as needed.
• Rate Template Management:

• Update and maintain rate templates in the ERP system according to contract specifications.
• Ensure that all rates and pricing structures are correctly applied to projects.
• Conduct periodic reviews of rate templates to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Phase Code Management:

• Configure and manage phase codes in the ERP system to reflect project phases and milestones.
• Ensure that phase codes align with project plans and contractual agreements.
• Update phase codes as projects progress and requirements change.

• Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with project managers, IT staff, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project setup and execution.
• Provide regular updates and reports on project setup status and issues.
• Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to project setup in a timely manner.
• Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvement in the project setup process.
• Participate in ERP system upgrades and enhancements to improve project setup capabilities.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and ERP system developments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proven experience in ERP system management, project setup, or a similar role.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Windows, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret complex contracts and documents.
• Proficient in using ERP systems and related software.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to learn, understand and apply ISC business practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Vista by Viewpoint ERP system.
• Familiarity with industry-specific project requirements and standards.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position with standard office hours.
• May require occasional overtime to meet project deadlines.
• Primarily office-based with the possibility of remote work as needed.
